Tuberculin Skin Testing checks for history of tuberculosis exposure. It is often required for people who work within health care institutions, teachers, some college applicants or people who work for private care businesses. Because the skin test is first administered and then read 48-72 hours following; two appointments must be made for the tuberculin test. Please call for an appointment or questions.

• Receipt of the skin test on Monday or Tuesday
• Reading of the skin test by Health Department personnel or as previously arranged on Wednesday or Thursday. Skin tests not read by Health Department personnel may not be signed off
