Food or Waterborne Disease or Other Consumer Complaint:
A foodborne outbreak is defined as the occurrence of two or more cases
of a similar illness resulting from the ingestion of a common food. A single
case of suspected botulism or chemical poisoning is also considered as an
outbreak of foodborne illness. When we receive a report(s) of a foodborne
illness we conduct an investigation primarily to: Please report any suspected food borne illness to this department or to the Public Health Department (on menu bar at left) as soon as possible.
